Rhoda Whitfield was a columnist for Purpose Driven Magazine.  She was known for writing the “Just Simply Saying” articles where she gave raw and relevant straight forward marital words of wisdom to help couples cultivate a successful and loving marriage. She is a co-author of the book A Well-rounded Love Affair “More than Between the Sheets,” with her husband Rev. Danny Whitfield. They also do a weekly “Marriage Takes Work” radio broadcast on Hallelujah 95.3 every Friday at 12:30 pm and a quarterly “Marriage Forum” on Facebook Live. After the death of her son, she was driven to write a book “Where Did You Go?” which has since been accompanied by a supplemental guide and journal to assist children that are having a difficult time with the loss of a loved one. Because of her passion for marriage, she has published her second marriage book entitled I’m Just Simply Saying “Marriage Takes Work” along with a published workbook.  She has been married for 42 years to her college sweetheart Rev. Danny Whitfield and they are presently working on another marriage project through their, “Daily Marital Nuggets Devotional.”
